Benefits of Mindfulness Practice

When we are mindful we are less likely to automatically react to life based on old habits and social conditioning, instead we learn to consciously respond to life with greater curiosity, openness, acceptance and compassion.  As we sharpen our mindfulness skills we dramatically increase our capacity to respond to difficult situations from a non-judgmental, non-reactive and compassionate perspective, which fosters wiser and healthier responses to the challenges we face each day. From this mindfulness perspective we experience each moment with greater acceptance and tend to be less preoccupied with rehashing the past or rehearsing our future, freeing up more energy to be creative and productive in today.

Plan to stop by our Drop-in Class when your schedule permits.
